Article 15 GDPR is no longer merely a transparency right. It has become a key litigation, compliance and governance tool. Recent court decisions continue to shape fundamental questions, including the scope of personal data covered by access requests, the provision of copies, and limitations of access rights.
This session connects these legal developments with the operational reality of DSAR compliance. Participants will gain practical insights into the automation of Article 15 GDPR requests, the distinction between internal DSAR automation tools and self-service solutions, and the key legal requirements such tools must meet. The session also explores the implications of recent case law, including the OVG Saarland judgment and the Meta Business Tools decisions.
Speakers: Mirjam Lück, Susan Lipeyko
