The GDPR does not impose a single standard for everyone. What is appropriate for one organization may be insufficient, or excessive, for another.
This workshop introduces a recently developed maturity-based framework for privacy governance that moves beyond binary notions of compliance. Using actual metrics, the framework enables organizations to assess their current maturity level, determine what level is appropriate for their specific context, and derive risk from the gap between current and target maturity.
After a short introduction, participants will have the opportunity to select specific sections of the framework and discuss them in depth from legal, operational and organizational perspectives. The discussions will be used to validate assumptions, identify blind spots, and gather practical experience from different industries and organizational settings. Insights generated during the workshop will directly inform the ongoing refinement of the framework.
