For multinational organizations with large vendor ecosystems and diverse product portfolios, AI is no longer introduced only through new vendors—existing vendors are continuously adding AI capabilities to products already in use. At the same time, organizations must navigate an evolving landscape of AI and privacy regulations across jurisdictions. But does AI fundamentally introduce new risks, or are many of the challenges simply familiar third-party, privacy, and security risks in a new form? In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore practical approaches to privacy due diligence across the AI vendor lifecycle. Together, we’ll discuss when new AI functionality should trigger additional review, how to assign ownership of AI-related risks, and how Privacy, Security, Procurement, Legal, and business teams can build scalable, globally consistent governance that enables innovation while managing risk. You’ll leave with practical ideas and approaches you can apply within your own organization.
