Reorganisations and transformations into matrix structures do more than change organisational charts — they can trigger extensive processing of employee data. HR teams build profiles, compare employees and allocate people to new units and reporting lines, often across legal entities and national borders.
Using anonymised composite cases, this workshop explores how privacy and cybersecurity can be embedded into large-scale employee transformation programmes. Participants will discuss sensitive HR data, fairness and purpose limitation, organisational interests, and the practical role of DPOs, privacy teams and CISOs throughout the process.
