Spotlight Litigation – When contracts, products and compliance systems are put to the test

Format: Keynote · Required preknowledge: Beginner · Room: EG03
Time: 13:00–14:00
Topics: Data Protection & Privacy

When digital business models, products and compliance decisions end up in court, legal questions that may have seemed theoretical suddenly become very practical.

Drawing on real-world litigation experience from both in-house and external counsel perspectives, this session explores how disputes involving e-commerce, technology and data protection are managed in practice. It examines how organizations can defend business models and compliance decisions, use litigation strategically when conflicts escalate, and manage the internal communication and coordination that proceedings require.

The session will also look beyond litigation itself: what court proceedings reveal about the issues that ultimately matter when products, processes and compliance systems are challenged — and what organizations can learn from those cases before a dispute arises.
