Christian Hamann is a lawyer and partner at Gleiss Lutz’s Berlin office. He has been working in data protection and data regulation for more than 25 years and advises national and international companies and public authorities on matters including the handling of personal information, the development and deployment of AI, and cybersecurity issues. Christian completed his studies at Freie Universität Berlin. He is (co-)author of various handbooks and commentaries and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the German Association for Data Protection and Data Security (GDD). He speaks German and English.
