Dr. Marc Heimann is a philosopher, an applied AI researcher, consultant, and former university lecturer based in Hamburg, Germany. With a PhD in Philosophy, his work bridges transformer architecture with human factors, focusing on mechanistic interpretability, AI literacy, and model governance. He is the creator of Metaphor Tracer, an open-source toolkit for inspecting hidden LLM states, and the author of 13 peer-reviewed papers spanning, epistemology of transformer models, cognitive science, AI ethics, and model behavior.
